In 2003, I decided as a wife and mother of three small children that the road I was taking in life was not going to get me or my family anywhere, and decided that it was time to go back to school. After considering numerous paths of study, I decided that Nursing was the way I wanted to spend the rest of my life.

In 2007, I graduated from Tennessee State University with my Associates Degree in Nursing, and started working with the precious preemies in the NICU. I eventually decided to continue my education and obtained my Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2012 from Austin Peay State University. I worked in the NICU for 5 years, and then decided after spending time with my grandmother in the hospital, that I needed to continue on in my education and step into the world of adults.

I received my Masters Degree in Nursing in 2014 from Tennessee State University. After graduating, I had no idea where I wanted to start as a Nurse Practitioner, but as luck would have it, found myself in the Nurse Practitioner position at a Family/Pain Management Clinic. I spent 9 months treating a variety of medical conditions, as well as pain, and came to realize that pain management was my calling.

In May 2015, I was lucky enough to obtain a position with Pain Institute of White House. Finally, I was able to focus on my calling, pain management. At Pain Institute of White House, I have found a family of co-workers who I enjoy working with and who share my goal of helping our patients live a fulfilling, enjoyable life that is not hindered by pain. At Pain Institute of White Houseour number one goal is assisting the patients to find pain relief so that they can work, play with their children, spend time doing activities they love, and be happy.
