Michael Cox, CEO-CFO

My wife Debbie Cox and I took the plunge on February 3, 2012 and opened the Pain Institute of Clarksville LLC. We also opened the Pain Institute of White Housein November of 2013. Cox Pharmacy was opened in October 2014 to help accommodate patients who were having trouble finding their medicine. We also opened Cox Realty in July of 2015. My grandfather always encouraged be to own your own business. I remember Debbie having some sleepless nights as I slept like a baby. Opening a business is always a little stressful. It seems time flies by us as we go through life. It has been and still is a pleasure trying to help manage the chronic pain issues that our patient deal with every day. While running the everyday operations of the company, Debbie and I remain focused on treating patients with compassion. Our main goal is to try and help them with their issues while being treated fairly and respectfully.

I grew up in Kingsport, Tennessee and graduated high school from Sullivan West. I attended Tusculum College and graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration. I worked as an advanced wound care specialist with a Medical company for 20 years. My best friend and wife enjoy living in Clarksville with our most cherished daughter Isabella. We hope that she becomes a doctor and takes over the business in the future. Remember a great coach once said “If you work hard and are dedicated you’ll be a winner, the price of victory is high, but the rewards are great.”
